Kana's class is the best. She is an awesome teacher and has a lot of experience. I love her class because its fun and exciting. But its also challenging which makes improvement happen. I feel really lucky to have the opportunity to take class from such a wonderful teacher.
The other thing that is really great is the studio itself. Its clean and has good energy. It also has a really friendly atmosphere. Many people say hi to me just because we see each other all the time.

Hama is an instructor in the of the Luigi style of jazz and is a wonderful example of an iconic lyrical jazz teacher. His warm-up is like a choreographed dance and as long as I've been practicing it. I always find something new. His combinations are always changing and enjoyable. I love his choreography and his music choices. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

About Risa's jazz class:

I have been frequenting Hama's Dance Center for 5 years, and it has become a second home to me. The space is incredibly intimate and the dancers that attend have no airs about them which i think is entirely unique. It truly is a family atmosphere there. In particular, when my schedule allows it, I love taking Risa's jazz. I always feel revived after leaving her class, because not only have I been able to brush up on my dance technique, but I've been able to express myself. Her choreography is fluid and beautiful whether it be a lyrical dance or a bubbly, upbeat, energetic piece. Her guidance and advice is entirely constructive and inoffensive, and her spirit is infectious. It is always a treat to attend her Monday night class.
